Hi!
Thanks for checking out yet another in the vast webisphere of food blogs. If I were a bettin' man, I would lay some money down to say there are probably more food blogs on the interwebz than anything else, even more than the naughty pages!
How do I feel about that? GREAT! To me, food is love, and the more we can have of both to spread around this world the better.

Who am I? My name is Tedd Dunham. I began my working life in the restaurant business at 15 years of age. As a youngster, I spent quite a bit of time in the kitchen and behind the grill too. While working in restaurants I have done pretty much everything there is to do, from "FoH" to "BoH", you know what that means right?
Well, maybe I should just tell you so you don't go making up your own definitions. Front of House and Back of House. "Everything" includes, dish washing, prep cook, line cook, salad station, sous chef, chef to busboy, waiter, bartender, barista (espresso jerk), host and maitre d', as well as managing a few places...but anyone who has managed a restaurant rarely wants to brag about that, right?
I also like taking photos of food and culinary situations, I hope you enjoy what you see as much as I like making it happen.

FoodieWest is here for the Chef, Baker, Caterer, Gourmet, and anyone who considers themselves an enthusiast of gastronomy. You have your networks, online magazines, blogs and magazines in print as well as new cookbooks introduced daily...and let’s not get into all the awesome and crazy new kitchen products out there. There are just so many food avenues to explore, as it should be!
